The famed Chihuahua-Pacific Train, affectionately known as the "Chepe" due to its initials (Ch of Chihuahua and P of Pacífico), has been delighting tourists for around 50 years now. This remarkable route still captivates travelers from every corner of the globe, even in the XXI century. The Chepe offers a unique opportunity to witness an array of microclimates, explore enchanting historical sites and vibrant communities, and capture breathtaking landscapes with your camera. The Chepe travels a scenic route spanning 653 kilometers from Chihuahua to Los Mochis. One of the highlights of this route is the breathtaking Copper Canyon, considered one of nature's greatest wonders. The tourist train is now referred to as the "Chepe Express." This luxury train runs daily from Creel to Los Mochis. On the other hand, the "Chepe Regional" is the regular train. The Chepe Regional runs three times per week between the whole route between Chihuahua and Los Mochis.
The Chepe Regional offers a journey through 13 stations, including the cities of Chihuahua and Los Mochis, alongside towns nestled in the picturesque Sierra Tarahumara. It is important to note that only the Chepe Regional allows access to these stops.

The Chepe Express offers additional services, such as an onboard restaurant serving traditional dishes, a bar with high-definition screens, and a terrace offering panoramic views through folding windows.
The Chepe Train takes you on a scenic journey through the majestic Sierra Tarahumara. The train route includes crossing the Copper Canyon, which consists of mountains and canyons up to 4 times more extensive than the famous Grand Canyon of Colorado in the United States. In certain areas, the depth of Copper Canyon surpasses 1 mile (1.6 km)! The railroad from Chihuahua to Los Mochis passes through 87 tunnels and 37 bridges.
