This package offers travelers a truly unique experience of Colombia and Panama, not the typical worn-out tourist destinations. We will travel on a variety of fascinating rail vehicles to discover the many surprises awaiting us in these two exotic countries.
In Colombia, for example, we’ll visit regions that produce the highest quality Colombian coffee and learn how this magical bean is grown, harvested, and prepared. Master baristas will demonstrate for us how to prepare the "perfect cup of coffee." We’ll also visit one of the most exclusive rum distilleries in the Americas and learn how this golden elixir is produced. In Panama, we’ll cruise the famous Panama Canal, learn about its history and function, and explore scenic sites along the way.
These are just a few of the many adventures we’ll have, from visiting an old Salt Mine to exploring the Comuna 13 in Medellin where Pablo Escobar grew up. Get ready to be educated, intrigued, and surprised.
